Consul General's Distinguished Lecture Series
An insightful lecture on Jamaica's Cannabis Industry and Garveism in Childhood education

About this Event

Island SPACE Caribbean Museum invites you to an enlightening lecture as part of Jamaican Consul General R. Oliver Mair’s Distinguished Lecture Series. On Thursday, February, 2026, at 6:00 PM, we proudly welcome CEO of the Cannabis Licensing Authority Jamaica, Ms. Farrah Blake, and President of The Universal Negro Improvement Association and African Communities League, Steven Golding.

Farrah Blake will deliver a lecture on investing in Jamaica’s medical cannabis industry, offering insights into opportunities, regulations, and the future of this growing sector. Steven Golding will explore the role of Garveyism in early childhood education, highlighting how Marcus Garvey’s philosophy can inspire identity, empowerment, and cultural pride in young learners.
