- **Event Description**: In this beginner class, we will cover the basic techniques to create beautiful mandalas using dotting tools. This is a creative and meditative process that guides you into a relaxed flow state; your creative mind.



This type of art is rooted in the Hindu and Buddhist tradition of mandala and is currently practiced to help achieve mindfulness and concentration: all while creating something unique to you. This class is designed to instill in you the confidence to continue your creative journey on your own.



All of your tools and materials will be provided for you to keep. Together, we will create two small mandalas. It is recommended to bring a tray or a box to take home your creations in case they are still wet. Please consider an apron since we will be working with acrylic paint.



This class will be held in person at DFW Crystals located at 901 W Parker Rd. Ste 121 Plano, TX 75023

In honoring participants and the nature of the session, late arrivals will not be accepted.

12:50 pm: Doors Open
1:05 pm: Doors Close and Workshop Begins
3:00 pm: End Time

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:

Misty Khachatrian, Neurophysiologist

Misty Khachatrian is a neurophysiologist with a Master’s degree in neuroscience, deeply passionate about exploring the connection between the brain, body, and breath. As a breathwork facilitator, she guides others into deeper states of awareness, healing, and nervous system regulation through conscious breathing practices.



Beyond her scientific work, Misty is a devoted wife and mother, grounded in the rhythms of family life and inspired by the beauty of the natural world. She is also an artist and hula hoop teacher, weaving creativity, movement, and play into all that she does.



Her work exists at the intersection of science, embodiment, and curiosity—bridging intellectual understanding with lived, felt experience.
