3D Printing For Teens: Building Something Bigger

Forget just watching videos about tech—it’s time to get your hands on the machines. Join Mind Loft LLC at the Liberty Recreation Center for an afternoon of design, engineering, and rapid prototyping.

Our theme is "Creating Something Bigger." This isn't just about printing a small plastic toy; it’s about understanding the tools that are changing the world—from medicine to filmmaking. Whether you want to design custom gear, learn how a 3D printer actually works, or just hang out with other creators, this pop-up is for you.

• The Design Lab: Learn the basics of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and see how to turn a 2D idea into a 3D reality.
• Live Printing: Watch high-speed printers in action and learn how to troubleshoot common "fails."
• Take-Home Swag: Every attendee will get to design and take home their own custom 3D-printed creation.
• Maker Social: Meet other local teens interested in tech, art, and innovation.

• WHO: Teens aged 13–18. No prior experience required!
• WHERE: Liberty Recreation Center, Plano, TX.
• WHEN: Sunday, February 15th | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
• COST: $35 per person. (Covers all filament, tools, and take-home prints).
