Join us on-site during our Giving Back Community Program events to Volunteer for a Day—a special opportunity offered once a month for a 3-hour shift at the sanctuary.

This experience is perfect if you:
✨ Want a sneak peek into what it’s like to be a sanctuary volunteer.
✨ Need to fulfill community service hours for school or graduation
✨ Love animals, the outdoors, and making a real difference

Who can volunteer:
✔ Ages 14+ 
✔ No experience needed

Possible tasks (varies by day):
🐴 Barn chores (mucking stalls, water buckets, filling hay bags)
🌱 Grounds cleanup (raking, light W**d whacking)
🎀 Decorating trails for upcoming fundraisers
🌼 Planting and ground keeping projects
🔧 Handy helper’s welcome! (small farm projects using tools)
🧼 Cleaning tack and equipment

>> We will have a waiver form for you to sign when you come.

📌 Important Notes for Students:
Students: Community service forms will be completed after your shift (please bring your form).

🐎 Sanctuary Guidelines (for everyone’s safety & the horses’ well-being)
👟 Footwear First: Closed-toe shoes or boots required. No sandals, flip-flops, or heels.
🚭 Keep it Clean & Green: No smoking, vaping, alcohol, or littering on the property.
🐾 Leave Pets at Home: Our animals are older and many with special needs
🚪 Red Gate Safety: Please wait patiently for the red gate to open upon arrival.

🐴 Equine Care Rules:
>> Only enter equine areas with an equine caregiver
>> Only feed animals with caregiver guidance (many are seniors with special needs)
