Step into the magic of a bygone era at Spirits of Christmas Past: An Old-Fashioned Dickens Christmas at the Historic Bee-Bennett Mansion in Placerville!
For one enchanting evening, the El Dorado County Historical Society invites you to experience the warmth and wonder of a Victorian Christmas inside one of El Dorado County’s most storied mansions.
Hosted by Mrs. Mary Cordelia Bennett—portrayed by her great-granddaughter—this festive evening brings history to life through stories, carols, and the spirit of old El Dorado County pioneers.

• Dickens carolers filling the halls with song
? Father and Mother Christmas greeting guests
? Festive hors d’oeuvres and artisan holiday desserts
? Champagne, mulled cider, and hot chocolate
?️ Guided tour of the Bee-Bennett Mansion
?️ The “Spirits” of El Dorado County’s pioneers sharing Christmas memories
Each guest will receive one complimentary glass of champagne and enjoy unlimited hot cider, cocoa, coffee, and tea. A cash bar will also be available for hot toddies and other yuletide libations.
