Mother’s Nature Birth Story Sharing Circle



Birth is one of the most transformational experiences of a woman’s life. Oftentimes, society asks mothers to “bounce back” after the wild endeavor of pregnancy and birth. There is no space for slowness and integration. There is no one to acknowledge your initiation. We are here to remedy this madness and see you in your journey. We are here to build a village and to meet you in the depths of your motherhood. We are here to listen.


We will sit together in a circle, and witness each other's birth stories. We are here to hold the grief, joy, and everything in between.


This circle is for all women who have given birth. It does not matter if you have an infant, an adult child, or have experienced a birth that did not result in life. We want to hear your story. 


The event will begin with a grounding meditation, followed by circle sharing. There will be time for mingling and free connection. 


Heart opening herbal tea will be provided. 



**This is a space for mothers to process and integrate. Children are welcome, however we cannot know the extent of content that will be shared. If you are not comfortable with your child hearing potentially traumatic stories, please leave them home. I am a firm believer in children healing and learning alongside us, so please feel free to reach out to me with questions or concerns in this regard.


About your facilitator:


Kati is a full-spectrum doula, women’s circle facilitator, song leader, community organizer, early childhood educator, and mother. She began her path to doula work with her own transformation into motherhood, where she discovered the profound depth of power that lives inside the womb. Trained under elder midwife, Whapio, in physiological birth, she believes that every mother carries an ancestral wisdom on how to birth within her. Her philosophy is rooted in the belief that birth is not just a medical event, but a sacred rite of passage that deserves reverence, undisturbed presence, and grounded guidance. She believes we can change the world, and begin to repair our collective wounding through birthing in power and raising our little ones in safety.
