This is not a lesson or training session. It’s an informational overview designed to help you understand the pathway into the sport and how the RAF community supports new pilots

What You’ll Learn:
How to pursue PG lessons (local & out of area)
• Time commitment, weather windows, lifestyle fit, and how to stay current
• Financial considerations: lessons, equipment, dues, travel
• Local flying sites, site guidelines, and when we fly
• How RAF supports new pilots: mentoring program, reserve chute clinic, events, advice
• How to connect: WhatsApp groups, club communication channels, and opportunities to watch or join the community on flying days
