After a 10+ year hiatus, alpine skiing returns to the Bay State Winter Games at Bousquet Mountain! This exciting two-run Giant Slalom competition will take place on our Upper and Lower Grand trails, bringing together skiers from across New England for a day of competitive racing and camaraderie.
Open to residents, students, and ski club members from MA, ME, VT, NH, CT, and RI, this event is capped at 200 participants. Entry includes your race runs, a lift ticket for post-race skiing, medals for top finishers, and branded gifts for podium placements in each division. Registration is $85 through March 13 at 12:00pm (or until the 200-skier cap is reached), with limited on-site registration available at $105 if space permits.
Helmets and goggles are required. This is a skiers-only event—snowboarders are not eligible.

The Bay State Games celebrate amateur athletics across Massachusetts and New England with the motto "For the Athlete in All of Us." This multi-sport Olympic-style competition brings together athletes of all ages and abilities to compete, connect, and showcase their skills. The return of alpine skiing after more than a decade marks an exciting new chapter for winter sports in the Games, and we're proud to host this historic comeback right here at Bousquet Mountain.
