The dream of our long-running ethereal night, which happens every Fifth Monday, has come true. We are now located in the bar at this venerable venue, cocktail lounge and record store, and this is our fourth edition at the new space.
TREASURE began eight years ago as a combined live music and DJ night hosted by Amadea and Futurism every month at the now-defunct Howler's in Bloomfield.
Over time, the event logged appearances at Brillobox and the long-gone Hambone's; spun off another monthly called 'Coven' at Belvedere's; ran for two years as a Fifth Monday DJ night at Spirit Lodge; and co-sponsored various darkwave and postpunk concerts at venues such as Smalls Funhouse and Cafe, Spirit and Cattivo.
Now, Amadea and Futurism are proud to bring their ethereal sounds to a fresh location, Government Center, where they will continue the tradition of the Fifth Monday, spinning chilled ambience, atmospheric dreampop, shimmery synthpop, and brooding postpunk for the dreamers among us.
