Prototype has 1 sewing machine available and some supplies and fabric scraps; bringing your own materials and tools is encouraged.FACILITATOR BIOGene Anderson (they/he) is a self-taught stitcher, quilter and designer who learned to sew from the generosity of queer sewing mentors, and Trans Tailoring was created as a way to continue and expand that journey with others. Gene is the creator of The Jilt and other upcycled denim creations, as well as a local bookkeeper, plant dad, and part-time queer brunch host. Guest instructors are welcome to get in touch if you want to get involved!
