In this workshop we are practicing the radical art of undoing by using restorative yoga + yoga nidra to improve our mental acuity and deepen into a state of relaxation. When the body feels safe and supported, the parasympathetic nervous system turns on, allowing for healing at every level. May this practice remind you that to pause is the most productive thing you can do.The importance of rest has and will always be a corner stone in our physical well-being. In this workshop you will explore postures that activate the parasympathetic state of “rest and digest”. The practice of restorative yoga will help to counter the effects of stress, burn out and busyness our lives. You will be guided in to several postures using the support of props to create safety in the body enabling you to let go followed by a guided meditation know as yoga nidra allowing you to relax into a deeply meditative state. All are welcome to join this practice of deep rest.
