- **Event Description**: Learn the art of fighting on camera to create intense visuals as well as a captivating story. This workshop will take students through fundamental concepts to maximize intensity while being completely safe and controlled.
On camera fighting differs from both stage combat and traditional martial arts, so it's a specific skill to learn and improve upon.

Who is this for?
Actors, martial artists, dancers, gymnasts, circus artists, etc. Anyone who is interested in action cinema.
Lets train, learn, have fun, improve, and create!

Prerequisites: none. Beginners are welcome.
Recommended: training in martial arts, dance, gymnastics, or movement is helpful to pick up on the technical elements and choreography.
Having a good level of conditioning is also recommended as this will be a very physical class, though students are encouraged to go at their own pace.

Workshop will consist of:

Basic fundamental movements: falls, rolls, reactions
Fighting Techniques for camera: punches, kicks, defense, takedowns, stacking a hit, etc.
Partner work for timing and rhythm
Learning and Performing Fight Choreography, plus adding in acting and story
Time for open practice to drill techniques, film, and create

Everything will be done with a big priority on safety first!

Cost is $60 per person.
