Roots Sessions and Tech25 are teaming up to bring you Channel One with Mikey Dread and Ras Sherby all the way from the UK! We will be bringing the big bad Steelyard Sound System down from Cleveland, Ohio for this one!

Special Guest, Buscrates will open the night up with some Funk and Soul to get that energy flowing.

"Channel One Sound System is one of the UK’s best known and most loved reggae sound systems.  Having taken over the running of their father’s sound in 1979, Mikey Dread and his brother Jah T took the sound to local blues parties and dances.  Mikey took the name Channel One as homage to the  legendary Channel One studio in Jamaica"
"Channel One’s mission is “to break down barriers via reggae music”, they have achieved this by travelling and playing to new audiences and venues all over the world."

Buscrates is one of the best local DJs and producers. His sets are full of energy, great selections and great mixing. Get ready to dance when he's behind the 1s and 2s!!

In addition to the live performance, Tim from Steelyard Sound will be hosting a special sound system workshop where he will go over how he designed and built the sound system. 

Sound System workshop: 5pm til 7pm. Free!! (donations appreciated for the soundman)
Main Event: 8pm til 11pm

Food and beverages available to purchase.
