Guest Poet, Rita Dove, and Faculty member, Matthew Shenoda, join Cofounders, Toi Derricotte and Cornelius Eady, in a celebration of everything that Cave Canem set out to be in 1996 and has become. Among the poetry will be the memories and anecdotes drawn from the more than 500 Fellows, 1,000 workshop participants, and dozens of prize-winners whose artistic practice has benefited from years of support and advocacy for Black poets. EntryEntry is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Please plan for a timely arrival.Access NotesThis event will be livestreamed via Zoom with closed captioning.
