Roberta Hatcher is the author of the chapbook French Lessons (2016). Her work has appeared in The Comstock Review, St. Petersburg Review, Storm Cellar, Voices from the Attic, Vox Populi, Yawp and other journals. Her many former lives include work as a bartender, forestry camp worker, tour operator, au pair, postcolonial studies scholar, and most lately, a trainer of volunteer literacy tutors, from which she recently retired. It is Pittsburgh that made her a poet.

Sony Ton-Aime is a Haitian poet, essayist, translator, and the executive director of Pittsburgh Arts and Lectures. Previously, he served as the Michael I. Rudell Director of Literary Arts at Chautauqua Institution. He is the author of the chapbook LaWomann, the Haitian Creole translation of Olympic Hero: The Lennox Kilgour’s Story, co-author of the Haitian Creole course on Duolingo, and co-founding editor of ID13. His work has appeared in Artful Dodge, Consequence Forum, Poets.org, Idaho Review, Hunger Mountain Review, and Cleveland Review of Books, among others. He is author of the full-lenght collection, Konbit (CMU Press, 2026).

Christopher Bowen is the author of the chapbook We Were Giants, the novella When I Return to You, I Will Be Unfed, and the non-fiction Debt. He was a semi-finalist in the 2017 Faulkner-Wisdom Novella Competition and honorable mention in the 45th New Millennium Writing Awards in the non-fiction category. His short story collection, The Things They Forgot to Tell Us When They Left, is forthcoming from Cervena Barva Press.
