Great Backyard Bird Count

Grab your binoculars and join Pittsburgh Park Rangers for a lively hour of birding fun at the Great Backyard Bird Count. This all-ages adventure is all about getting outside, spotting local birds, and adding your observations to a worldwide conservation effort, whether you see one bird or a whole flock. We’ll meet at the Bandstand and explore the park together, sharing discoveries along the way. Bring your own binoculars or borrow a pair, dress for the weather, and wear sturdy shoes, as the route includes stairs and some elevation changes.
