Attendees must have already attended:Foundations & Self-Awareness of Cognitive Development (which is being offered on May 14th)Workshop DescriptionIt is in struggle that we all grow. Helping support young people through that struggle helps promote that opportunity for growth and learning.In this workshop, participants will practice fostering growth mindset to help young people persevere when they struggle and explore strategies that staff can use to support them.Participants will identify nuances for how these strategies may apply to work with the young people they work with in balanced, equitable waysRegistration DetailsRegistration is open for this event until it fills up or until two days before the workshop.Because of the interactive nature of this workshop, in the event of low registration it may be cancelled. Advance notice will be provided.This workshop is limited to 15 participants. We will have a waiting list that we'll use to both fill spots that open up and also help plan our future workshop topic schedule.Each participant will be provided with a guidebook to use during the training and keep and will also receive a certificate of completion via email afterwards.Location & AccessibilityThis workshop will take place at the Community Engagement Center - Homewood (622 N.
