It's time to pause, reset, and recapture some much needed energy and bandwidth to examine how we can live and lead as a rational optimist. We will examine universal practices of happiness grounded in neuroscience and positive psychology to consider how small shifts in our thoughts, language, and actions can help support ourselves while we support others. She teaches model lessons, facilitates professional development sessions, and mentors teachers to be the best for the students in front of them.Suzanne is Nationally Board Certified, a fellow of the National Writing Project, and has a Masters Degree in Reading. She is dedicated to nurturing and developing the whole child and teacher and presents keynotes and professional development sessions internationally.Suzanne is the author of the ASCD bestselling books Teach Happier this School Year: 40 Weeks of Inspiration & Reflection and You’ve Got This: Finding Happiness and Success in Your First Years Teaching. She is also the host of the popular weekly podcast, Teach Happier.
