He has many interesting, first-hand stories to share regarding the development and preservation of public art in East Liberty, such as the first artist-designed pedestrian bridge in Pittsburgh, Shady Liberty, by Sheila Klein; the Joy of Life sculpture by Virgil Cantini; Leslie Ansley’s Convergence; Kate Bechak’s Worm’s Eye View; To Be Human, by Ann Lewis, on the façade of Duolingo HQ; and Thaddeus Mosley’s sculptures at Eastside Bond Plaza.Please join us for this one-of-a-kind tour!Access & AccommodationsThe tour will meet in front of the main entrance of East Liberty Presbyterian Church, located at 116 S. Highland Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15206.This event will take place outdoors; please dress accordingly and wear comfortable shoes.The route of this tour will navigate city sidewalks and crosswalks along a mostly flat, paved surface.Public restrooms are available at the start of, and during the tour.Shiftworks is committed to making our events and programming accessible to as many community members as possible.
