By working with both her own scraps and found textiles, Silk “brings together separate events and recollections that all contribute to a meaningful visual expression of my life.”Louise Silk has been creating art quilts for over 50 years. She has exhibited throughout the US and has had seven solo exhibitions, including Louise Silk: A Patchwork Life, a career retrospective at the Heinz History Center in 2024.
