On Tuesday, November 18, Allegheny County Council will be voting on a resolution to increase Air Permitting Fees for industrial polluters. Increasing permit fees will
Reallocate money from industrial operators (U.S./Nippon Steel) to fund the Allegheny County Health Department Air Quality Program
Hold industry accountable
(Hopefully) improve the air quality
Get on the bus and raise your voice at County Council with us to put pressure on council members Embrescia, Betkowski, Filiaggi, Catena, Futules, Macev, Walton, Palmosina, and Botta to vote yes on the resolution to increase the permitting fees. Starting at 3:30 PM, we will be picking up residents from Clairton to get to Downtown. The first stop will be at the Clairton Family Center (734 Miller Ave) and the second stop is TBA. Food will be provided!!!
