All registered participants will receive a link to a one-hour recorded lecture by April 15, providing essential background on vegetable gardening. Participants are then encouraged to attend an in-person session at the Demonstration Garden at the Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center in Pittsboro on April 21st. During the hands-on workshop, Extension Master Gardener℠ Volunteers will demonstrate key techniques for growing warm-season crops in home gardens, including planting, harvesting, nutrient management, pest management, companion planting, cover cropping, and more.
