The Power of Music: Songs at the End of Life with Marie Vanderbeck

Heart2heartnc presents the first in a series of powerful gatherings:

Sing fearlessly with Chatham County singer and teacher Marie Vanderbeck for a meaningful, musical journey as she shares songs intended to bring comfort at the end of life.

In this participatory workshop, Marie will guide you through both individual and group singing techniques. Together, you'll explore harmonies and heartfelt songs that offer solace to those nearing the end of life and to their loved ones.

No singing experience is necessary—just a willingness to show up and sing from the heart. This space is open to anyone who feels called to offer songs of comfort to the dying.

Space is limited. $25

Marie is her music. With a voice rich in emotion and nuance, she sings with intention—using vocal technique, phrasing, and a soulful vibrato to connect deeply with her listeners. Her approach transforms music into a gift of presence and peace.
