Calumet Players Children’s Theatre (Pipestone, MN)

The Calumet Players Children’s Theatre is excited to announce three productions for area youth for the upcoming season! Students from Kindergarten through 8th grade are invited to audition and participate in fun, supportive, after-school theatre experiences. Directed by Amberlie Haak & Collene Landgren.

? PRODUCTIONS BY GRADE LEVEL

Kindergarten – 1st Grade
• "Oz – A Journey With Friends"
A kid-friendly trip down the Yellow Brick Road!

2nd – 4th Grade
• "Christmas in the Land of Oz"
A festive adventure in everyone’s favorite magical land.

5th – 8th Grade
• "When Bad Things Happen to Good Actors"
A comedy for older youth packed with theatrical mishaps and fun characters.

? AUDITION DETAILS

Date: January 6th
Time: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Location: Pipestone Performing Arts Center, Pipestone, MN

Who Can Audition:
All students within the listed grade levels are welcome. No prior experience is necessary!

What to Expect:
Students may be asked to read small sections from the scripts or participate in simple theatre games.

Rehearsals Begin: January 7th
Rehearsals will take place after school in the afternoons.

Performance Dates: March 27–29
