The Calumet Players of Pipestone, MN, are thrilled to announce auditions for their Summer 2026 musical production of THE WIZARD OF OZ, to be staged at the Pipestone Performing Arts Center.
Follow the yellow brick road in this delightful stage adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s beloved tale, featuring the iconic musical score from the classic MGM film. Join Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion as they journey from Kansas to the magical Land of Oz in a story that continues to captivate audiences of all ages.
AUDITIONS
March 30th and March 31st between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Callbacks (if necessary) on Thursday, April 2nd

We are seeking men, women, and children for a wide variety of roles. This is a fantastic opportunity for families to be involved together; no prior stage experience is required.

REHEARSALS
Rehearsals will begin in late April or early May 2026 and are anticipated to run:
Monday–Thursday evenings
Occasional Sunday afternoons
PERFORMANCE DATES
June 18–21 & June 25–28, 2026
Thursday–Saturday evening performances: 7:30 p.m.
Sunday matinees: 2:00 p.m.
ABOUT THE SHOW
The MGM film The Wizard of Oz, based on L. Frank Baum’s 1900 novel, premiered in 1939 and has become one of the most beloved musicals of all time. This stage adaptation, originally presented by the Royal Shakespeare Company, brings the magic, music, and heart of the story to life on stage.
