An exhilarating mix of rhythm, beauty and wonder awaits in this wide-ranging programme under the expert baton of Andrew Morley.

Audiences can look forward to the Spanish colour and flair of Manuel de Falla, the serene beauty of Schubert’s Psalm 23 (with guest conductor John Wyatt), and the atmospheric, cinematic soundworld of Hans Zimmer’s Earth.

The evening culminates in Holst’s ever-popular The Planets – a dazzling journey through the astrological characters of the solar system, from the fiery drama of Mars to the ethereal mystery of Neptune and the famous melodies of Jupiter.
