Designed for children aged 8 to 12, this program combines outdoor exploration with hands-on history lessons. Our young adventurers will discover the past in a whole new way as they explore local history and nature. Join us for a fantastic mix of outdoor exploration, history, and learning!

Activities will include, but aren’t limited to:
● Learning about bees and bats by building an insect hotel and decorating a bat box.
● Helping construct the new Piney Point Lighthouse Museum pollinator garden.
● Learn about Southern Maryland’s ecosystems and the role that different animals play within them.

Upon completion of the program, each participant will receive a “Junior Historian” certificate to commemorate their achievements! Spaces are limited to 12 children, so don’t miss out on this opportunity for your child to join the adventure.
