(Baggage claim area only. No chairs are allowed in the hallway) Dinner is available at The District Pub which will be open from 5:00 - 8:00 pm before the Veterans arrive. It is in the pre-security area located on the 2nd floor between Ticketing A and B at the airport. A few items to note: 1. St Pete - Clearwater International Airport (PIE) is the host of this event. We are their guests and are thankful for our partnership with them. Please show respect to the PIE personnel. Should you have any questions, please come and see an HF Board member. 2. Parking in short and long term will be complimentary. Even if you have to take a ticket upon entering, the gates will be open after the event. 3. Seating for the general public is very limited so bring a chair for the baggage claim area only. Make sure to bring a bottle of water too. 4. There is “Reserved” seating for our Ambassadors, those Veterans who have flown with us on an honor flight. If you are accompanying a Veteran please bring a chair since we only have a certain number of chairs. 5. Groups that are lining up in the hallway - we have been asked by PIE to remind you that you can only be one deep and only on one side of the hallway. And no chairs or strollers are allowed in the hallway. This is for the safety of our Veterans and also the guardians. Please do not put anything on the art display cases. 6. Please remain in place until the last Veteran has made his/her way down the hallway and into the baggage claim area. Some of our Veterans take some time when they deplane and then use the restroom. You will know it is the last Veteran when you see the color guards and flags following the last Veteran.
