- **Event Description**: - The NHL and the NHLPA have partnered with the Tampa Bay Lightning to provide a low-cost opportunity for kids to try hockey for the first time. During the 2025-2026 hockey season, more than 800 boys and girls (age 4-10) will discover the sport of ice hockey for the first time through the Lightning Learn to Play Hockey Program.
- The program will consist of eight ( 8 ) hour long on-ice training sessions over the course of eight ( 8 ) weeks. Participants will receive their own complete set of hockey equipment to keep as they progress into a next-step hockey program. The Tampa Bay Lightning 2025-2026 Learn to Play Program will run at Clearwater Ice Arena on Saturday's from 8:00-9:00 am.

Fall session begins on September 27th at 8:00 am.

Winter session begins on February 28th at 8:00 am.
