Turning Shadows into Light- a powerful experience for women navigating change, grief, reinvention, divorce, empty nesting, caregiving, career shifts, or simply letting go of an old version of themselves.

The Full Moon is a time of illumination, reflection, and release. Join us for an evening of creative processing designed for women moving through life’s transitions and transformations.

We’ll begin with a guided relaxation to help you settle into the present moment and connect with what is ready to be released. Through reflective journaling and optional sharing, you’ll explore the thoughts, emotions, patterns, and stories that may no longer serve you.

Next, you’ll create an expressive abstract painting, allowing color, movement, and emotion to flow freely onto the canvas. What begins as a release of negative energy, frustration, grief, fear, or uncertainty will gradually be transformed into something beautiful—a visual reminder that growth often emerges from the messy middle.

To close our evening, you’ll write what you’re ready to release onto a candle to take home. As you burn your candle in the days that follow, you’ll be invited to continue letting go and making space for what comes next.

No artistic experience is needed—only a willingness to show up, release expectations, and accept yourself exactly as you are. 

Moon Phase events at the Studio are small gatherings with intention based art aligning with the current phases of the moon.
Byob & snacks,  limited seating to keep groups intimate and allow for creative experimentation. 

Designs may be shared on social media, but everyone is encouraged to “color outside the lines” and go totally rogue if they like! We may use stencils, collage, even glitter (if we can be careful with it lol!) Creative self expression and mindful intentions for each participant make this a unique event to celebrate whatever season of life you find yourself in. 

Studio Doors open 10-15 minutes before event starts. 
Guided relaxation & intention setting begin 5 minutes after posted start time. If you are running late, please enter and sit quietly so as to not interrupt other guests’ experience. 

If you’d like to bring a guest who is under 21, please be mindful of the guided relaxation/intentional aspect of this event and use your own judgement. (Will they be mellow enough to sit calmly and quietly so others experience will not be negatively impacted?) 

Gratuities go to the Creative Resilience Studio’s community support fund to benefit programs for teen girls and survivors of human trafficking.

Please help us keep things friendly and comfortable for everyone by leaving religion and politics outside the studio, Thank You! 

Creative Resilience Art Studio is located at 270 C McCaskill Rd East, Pinehurst NC. Located next to Pinehurst EMS, near Rassie Wicker Park, and diagonally behind Pinehurst Brewing Company. Please park in the front lot, studio is around back. Overflow parking available in apartment lot across the street. Do not park in the rounded section to the far right of office lot please! 

No smoking or vaping on studio property please! If you choose to consume alcohol, please be sure you have a safe way home after the event. Creative Resilience is not responsible for your actions once you leave the studio, but we will try to advise your safe travels so you can join us again soon
