Reed-Woven Star Crafting Workshop at Nauti MI

In this beginner-friendly class, you'll create beautiful stars using natural basket reed—an age-old material traditionally used in basketry, now reimagined into striking, decorative stars. Whether you choose to craft a large star perfect for topping your tree or create a handful of smaller stars to hang as ornaments or scatter around your home, you’ll enjoy plenty of creative freedom to personalize your project.

All materials—including pre-cut reed and tools—are provided. Just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to explore a traditional, satisfying craft.

These reed-woven stars add a warm, natural touch to holiday décor, but they’re also beautiful year-round. Hang them in windows, display them on walls, or give them as heartfelt handmade gifts.
