Christmas on Stage and Screen

Step into a world of holiday magic as the Detroit Handbell Ensemble presents Christmas on Stage and Screen – a dazzling celebration of the most beloved Christmas music ever written for theatre and film.

DHE invites you to enjoy scenes from The Nutcracker and the Broadway stage along with heartwarming moments from holiday movies. This concert brings together the spirit, nostalgia, and sparkle of the season.

Selections include “We Need a Little Christmas” from the musical Mame, “What’s This?” from the movie Nightmare Before Christmas, “Believe” from The Polar Express, “Russian Dance” from The Nutcracker, “Somewhere In My Memory” from Home Alone, and more!

Conducted by Kyle Webber and comprised of the finest handbell musicians from southeast Michigan, the Detroit Handbell Ensemble celebrates more than 30 years of outstanding performances showcasing the brilliance of the Motor City.
