Hot flashes, irritability, anxiety, night sweats, low libido, dull skin or break outs and depression are just a few of the many symptoms associated with menopause. Most of us have at least one friend or family member if not your self who struggling with the side effects of this massive hormonal shift.
If you're a woman, it's normal to feel some anxiety about this time in your life but are you doing enough to embrace the change?
Woman can often feel very alone at this time, but just think about it, this is just a natural progression of being a woman and every one else your age is going through the same .

HRT was a simple solution for managing menopausal symptoms. But since several major studies have shown that HRT exposes women to serious health risks, many women have begun seeking more natural solutions.
Those who have turned to Yoga for relief have found that while Yoga postures may not directly influence Estrogen production, specific postures can help control unpleasant symptoms.
Restorative postures in particular can relax the nervous system and may improve the functioning of the endocrine system (especially the hypothalamus, the pituitary gland, the thyroid, and the parathyroid gland), which helps the body adapt to hormonal fluctuations… Too much jargon maybe but understanding how our body is working will enable you to make the right choices.
Yoga also has a way of reconnecting with ourselves which we may have lost when our bodies are changing and we focus on the negative rather than embracing the New you!
