For safety you must be able to at least roll and stop unaided, as we're not providing coaching and don't have safety frames. If you can't just ask us to send you the list of Learn to Skate group class locations between Brisbane and Byron. ⦿ ALL WHEELS: Roller skates, inline blades, freeskates, scooters, unicycles, electric longboards, skateboards, wheelchairs, buggies! Also, friendly energetic dogs on leashes or pulled along in dog carts are very welcome! ⦿ ALL SKATE STYLES: Skate laps with people around the courts, or learn slalom trick skating around all the cones, or get your groove on with jam/rhythm dance skaters. There's also games for kids on skates! ⦿ WHERE: 4pm 'till past sundown on Sunday 15th March. Upper level of Pimpama netball courts, in Pimpama Sports Hub. Google Maps sometimes wrongly takes you into Bull Road, but it's actually one block away, turn at the traffic lights at 193 Rifle Range Road. Afterwards; anyone that wants to, can tag along for a social dinner at a nearby food court, that we pick on the night. ⦿ PRICE: Free! -- ABOUT US: Gold Coast Rollout is a network of many thousands of skaters from Brisbane to Byron, that roller skate/blade for fun or professionally, across all skate disciplines (dance/jam/rhythm skating, roller derby, figure skating, speed skating, trick/slalom, aggressive skating, etc). We share tips & arrange skate meet-ups including our main Sunday community skate at one of a few locations we rotate each week...We do this in a voluntary community spirit to promote skating; and so we practice & learn together for free & for fun.
