In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will explore a simple watercolor resist printing technique using fresh flowers, leaves, and natural materials to create one-of-a-kind botanical artwork. We'll experiment with color, layering, and composition while letting nature help guide the creative process.

No artistic experience is required. This workshop is designed to be playful, approachable, and relaxing—perfect for anyone who enjoys flowers, nature, or trying something new.

Participants will create several unique botanical watercolor pieces to take home and will leave with inspiration for continuing the process on their own.

Participants will learn:

How to create botanical resist prints using flowers and foliage
Basic wet-on-wet watercolor technique
Ways to use natural materials as creative tools


Each guest will receive: 

Expert instruction from a local flower farmer

Watercolor paper & all materials needed during class

Fresh flowers and foliage for creating botanical prints

Multiple completed art pieces to take home, such as art cards, bookmarks, or small frameable works

Participants will also gain insight into how seasonal flowers are grown and why locally harvested blooms offer unique beauty compared to imported flowers.


Important Notes:

This workshop is designed for beginners; no experience is necessary.
Limited to 10 participants for a more personal experience.
Ages 8 and up.
