# Event Details - **Event Name**: Route 23 Bluegrass Festival - **Event Start and End Date**: Wed, 02 Sep, 2026 at 12:00 pm – Sun, 06 Sep, 2026 at 09:00 pm (-04:00) - **Event Description**: The Route 23 Bluegrass Festival, presented by Garage Beer, is back Sept. 2-6 at the Pike County Fairgrounds in Piketon, Ohio, and again features the best in bluegrass music! The IBMA award-winning event, formerly the SamJam Bluegrass Festival, features the Grammy award-winning SteelDrivers, Grammy award winner and two-time IBMA Guitar Player of the Year Trey Hensley, Appalachian Road Show, Sister Sadie, NewFound Road, the Po’ Ramblin’ Boys, DownRiver Collective, and many more! The Garage Beer Garden is back where we’ll offer all varieties of Garage Beer for $1, Black Diamond Brewery & Distillery products, along with other options. Tickets are $150 for all days of the festival with day tickets also available. Festival tickets can be purchased here: https://www.route23bluegrass.com/tickets. The first day of the festival is Wednesday, Sept. 2, with the Route 23 Hop, where we offer shuttle services through Ohio Party Bus to four local Pike County locations where bluegrass artists perform. Tickets for an all-day pass on the shuttle are $25 for individuals and $45 for couples. The festival is a public-private partnership between Southern Ohio Multimedia, LLC, which is owned by Rick Greene of Waverly, Ohio, and the Pike County Agricultural Society.
