Looking for an exciting January getaway that includes nature, wildlife and the Great Smoky Mountains? Join us in Pigeon Forge, TN.
Come celebrate the natural features, creatures and cultures of the Great Smoky Mountains. Free and open to the public, Wilderness Wildlife Week features a wide range of programs and activities for children and adults.
Along with the classes, seminars, demonstrations, and guided hikes through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Wilderness Wildlife Week features exhibit booths where guests can browse photography from the Smokies, local art, handmade goods, books and also connect with professionals, teachers and local experts.
Guided hikes range in difficulty from easy to challenging, and classes are geared towards beginners or advanced students in the different topics.
Personally, Mark Warren will be teaching 3 classes. Monday, January 5, 10:30am – 11:30am, Survival Tricks of the Trail
Tuesday, January 6, 1pm – 2pm, “The Forests Gift of Food, Medicine and Craft as Practiced by the Native Americans”
Wednesday, January 7, 11am – 12pm, The Art of Stalking for Wildlife Lovers, Photographers, or Hunters
