- **Event Description**: Welcome to our MURDER MYSTERY themed SUMMER THEATRE CAMP ages 9-14yrs! We are so excited you are joining us! 

Here is some info and what to expect during the week. 

The MURDER MYSTERY theatre Camp runs from Monday July 20- Friday july 24, 2026 9am-3pm. 

The location is THE DECOSTE STAGE! located within the decoste performing arts center, 99 Water St, Pictou, NS B0K 1H0

The doors do not open to campers until 8:55am. We are on the upper level. Please follow the signs and head on upstairs. 

Please make sure you sign in and out your child everyday. Unless you have signed a waiver and your child is 13yrs or over you must sign out your child every day. We can not release minors without this. 

We will be working on scenes and monologues with the camps theme. We will be crafting our very own murder mystery script to perform during our showcase. We will also be playing theatre games, camp games, themed crafts and more! 

On the last day of camp we will be performing an end of week showcase for parents from 2pm-3pm. 

Everyday we will be going outside for a walk. Please dress for the weather. Please have your child wear hat, sunscreen, etc. 

On rainy days please make sure your child has indoor shoes. Socks and bare feet will not be permitted at camp. 

Please wear clothing appropriate for movement. Please no dresses, heels, open toed shoes and NO sandals are to be worn. 

We are a NUT Free Camp. 

Everyday please make sure your child brings a lunch, 2 snacks (all nut free) and a refillable water bottle. 

Monday - meet and greet, theatre games and start crafting our script. 

Tuesday - script work, monologues. 

Wednesday - we are watching a movie. Please bring an extra snack for the movie to enjoy, bring blankets, pillows, stuffies to get comfy. 

Thursday - continue practicing for showcase, crafts. 

Friday is Showcase day! From 2-3pm we will perform everything we worked on from 2-3pm at the camp. 

Cost is $200. Payments to be made via etransfer to lightsuptheatrepictoucounty@gmail.com please use the word yellow as your password and include your childs name in the memo. 

Once payment is recieved your spot is secure.
