The path to reconciliation is not paved with grand gestures. It is millions of actions, open listening, and actively rebuilding relationships. It is acknowledging the truth of a place's past and embracing its present, while working toward building a better future for Indigenous and non-Indigenous residents together.

A Path Forward, located at Macaulay Heritage Park in Picton, is both a reflection of this ongoing work and an opportunity for continued community participation.

Co-curated by The County Museums and Tsi Tyónnheht Onkwawén:na and recognized as a Legacy Space by the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund, A Path Forward, is one example of reconciliation work happening right here in Prince Edward County. Through Indigenous art, history, and story, the exhibit invites year-round engagement with these essential conversations.

Join us at A Path Forward to reflect, to learn, and to consider the role each of us can play in the path forward. The site is open Wednesday through Sunday from 1pm-4pm. On September 30th, the site will be open for special extended open hours, from 10am-4pm. We welcome you to join us.
