In celebration of Black history and experience, the Congress of Black Women of Canada, Ajax/Pickering Chapters has teamed up with Pickering Public Library to provide a FREE event for kids (6 to 11 years old) on Saturday, March 28 at 1:00 to 3:00.
Join us for a hands-on musical journey! Led by Master African-Caribbean drummer Negus Medhin, participants will discover the powerful history and cultural heart of the Djembe drum. But you won’t just be listening—you’ll be building! Every guest will design, create, and learn to play their very own mini Djembe drum. All materials are included; just bring your creativity and your beat!
Also check out other Kids events & activities in Pickering, Workshops in Pickering.
