The soulful sounds of the blues will once again echo through the hills of the Upstate as the 2026 Deep Winter Blues Festival returns to Hagood Mill Historic Site on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This year’s festival is proudly headlined by Mac Arnold & Plate Full O’ Blues—a true South Carolina blues legend whose career spans decades. From performing with Muddy Waters to forming Plate Full O’ Blues, Mac Arnold’s authentic storytelling, deep-rooted sound, and unmistakable stage presence make this a must-see performance.
Joining him is the electrifying Veronika Johnson, whose commanding vocals and soulful delivery have earned her national recognition. Her powerful performances blend traditional blues with raw emotion and energy that captivate audiences from the first note to the last.
