Charles Dickens invited us into the world of A Christmas Carol, indelibly introducing us to Ebenezer Scrooge, the three ghosts of Christmas, Tiny Tim and a full cast of memorable characters. Though he spent mere weeks writing it, Dickens' novel has been a holiday staple for nearly two centuries, giving rise to countless adaptations for stage and screen.
The Christian Christmas Carol is just that, an adaptation from Charles Dickens immortal, The Christmas Carol. This is a story of how a lonely old man, after years of hearing friends and loved ones repeatedly witness the grace of God, retires to bed on a very lonely Christmas Eve. He dreams of voices out of the past, remembers the grace he has spurned and recognizes the great weight of sin which will soon accompany him into
eternity.
