Sabato 7 giugno 2025 ritorna l'appuntamento con il festival dell' Associazione Desert Fox dedicato alla musica underground e alle sonorità heavy-psych!
Una roboante giornata in cui si alterneranno otto gruppi su due palchi, arricchita dalla presenza di etichette indipendenti, distro, mercatini del vinile, bar, birreria artigianale e street food per ogni palato.

🌕 TRAUM (heavy/space/kraut, Roma)
TRAUM is the sharing of the same horizon of interpretation of existence and music by four musicians. TRAUM is a supergroup formed by Luca T. Mai (Zu), Paolo Mongardi (ZEUS!), Luca Ciffo (Fuzz Orchestra) and Lorenzo Stecconi (Lento). Considering the band's name stands for 'dream' in German you can expect mesmerizing synths surrounded by trippy guitar lines and hypnotic drumming.

🐲 GOTHO (math-prog, Genova/Torino)
GOTHO is a sonic voyage through the outer limits of math and progressive rock, infused with metal and unexpected twists.
The duo—Fabio Cuomo (Elder, Liquido Di Morte) on synths and Andrea Peracchia (TONS, Dogs For Breakfast) on drums—pushes boundaries with their latest album, Gothron Versus Fartark (released late 2024). A sci-fi odyssey of robotic warfare and cosmic stakes, it blends intricate rhythms and heavy atmospheres, adding to the mix jazz, disco, psychedelia, and beyond!

⛵ DA CAPTAIN TRIPS (psych rock, Piacenza/Lecco)
A staple of Italy’s underground psychedelic rock scene, Da Captain Trips returns with new music, three years after the release of "Maths of the Elements".
Recorded at Outside Inside Studio and set for release this spring via Subsound Records, the upcoming album captures their psychedelic vision of the moment of death—when the physical body dissolves, making way for the true essence.

🐚 PERCOSSA FOSSILE (grunge/post-punk, Padova)
Emerging from Padua’s underground scene, Percossa Fossile have been reshaping their identity since 2021, crafting a sound that never stays still. Prog rock, grunge, and post-punk riffs collide with shifting time signatures, intricate bass work, and sudden, sharp turns. No frills, no formulas—just raw energy and a touch of Prosecco-fueled madness, under the DOC etiquette of Go Down Records.

🐟 HELLEKIN MASCARA (post-math rock, Crema)
Formed in 2002, over time they tightened the lineup, dropped the vocals, and leaned into a sound suspended between rock’n’roll, math structures and post-rock.
After a long break, they’re back with new material (slowly written and obsessively revised over more than 5 years!) and a new EP scheduled for autumn 2025.
In the meantime, the old songs keep shifting shape. Nothing stays fixed at the fish hook, especially live!

🚲 MY BICYCLE KEYS (alt-garage punk, Piacenza)
In their twenties and unapologetically raw, My Bicycle Keys blend '80s American punk with the darker, dirtier side of '90s alternative. Acid guitars, overloaded bass, relentless drums, and an angry voice. No frills, no poses.
Their debut EP Homesick (Again) dropped this year on Bastione Records, limited to 100 handmade CD copies.
They’ll join DESERT FOX FEST IX after wrapping up their first European tour across France, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and Czechia.

🚀 LIQUID GERMS (space surf, Piacenza) / after-party!
Drifting through the cosmos since 1997, Liquid Germs make their comeback to this galaxy with Return to Earth (Othereyes Records, 2025), a lost archive of unreleased transmissions straight from the Enterprise’s vaults.
Blasting out a new-old wave of instrumental surf (with a feverish devotion to both Devo and Man or Astro-Man?) featuring members of Morticia’s Lovers, Link Quartet and more, Liquid Germs are set to land at Desert Fox Fest IX’s afterparty.
