Many of you have talented children, but the thought of taking them to a regular Open Mic Night terrifies them (and you). Well, here's your solution! Every second Sunday from 3 to 4pm (longer, if more kids sign up), Steel City Coffeehouse & Brewery hosts an Open Mic strictly for kids & teens, ages 16 and under.

We have a professional soundman, a full backline, and a great host/music instructor, Stefan Hayes, handling the show. Stephen's personality and experience as a music instructor makes him the perfect host for our first kids & teens Open Mic!

The environment is respectful and ideal for young or inexperienced performers to rid themselves of performance jitters or to prepare for upcoming performances, such as recitals
