Tie & Talk: The Waist Harness Edition

This month we’re diving into the Waist Harness — a beautifully structural tie that frames the hips and torso while offering strong, functional support and elegant lines on the body. This harness is not only visually striking, but also a powerful foundation piece you can build from in your rope practice.

✨ Theme: Bring decorative pieces to incorporate into your rope! Think rings, flowers, sea shells, charms, fabric accents, carabiners, chains, or other safe adornments that can add personality and intention to your tie.

Ko will be leading the step-by-step teaching of the waist harness, guiding you through clean structure, tension, and placement so you walk away with a solid, repeatable tie.

After the technical portion, we’ll open space to talk about the experience of this harness — how torso and waist-focused ties can affect body awareness, feelings of exposure or support, and how to navigate those sensations through clear communication, pacing, and consent.
