Join design professor Michelle Fehler (@nahimsa_design) and illustrator/designer Eric Torres (@ericimagines) for our first biomimicry walk, blending observation, storytelling, and hands-on sketching in one of the most visually rich landscapes around us.
We’ll explore how desert plants, patterns, and systems thrive in this unique climate, then slow down to sketch, journal, and translate what we see into creative insight. This is part nature walk, part studio practice, and part quiet conversation with the land. No previous experience needed.
Come curious, bring your sketchbooks, and leave with fresh perspectives, new marks on the page, and a deeper connection to design that is rooted in life itself.
