In October, he was detained by ICE and has yet to be released. This isn’t just about Yaakub. It’s about the safety and dignity of every immigrant and the protection of our First Amendment rights.Between Open Mic performances, hear from Yaakub himself as we recite notes he has shared with us while in detention.
