- **Event Description**: My biological father was the first person to be converted into The Apostolic Church Nigeria in our entire large family. 

He came from a deeply idolatrous home, and the moment he chose Christ, the world turned against him.

Because he followed God, he was persecuted; spiritually, emotionally, and physically. 

His own people tried to frustrate him. The hatred was so intense that his seven children died one after another, all before the age of three. 

Yet, in the midst of pain and loss, he remained faithful. 

Jesus said, “If the world hates you, know that it hated Me before it hated you, because you are not of the world, therefore the world hates you” John 15:18–19. My father lived this Scripture.

He married only my mother and stood firmly in Christ under The Apostolic Church Nigeria.

This is to remind us of the divine importance of prophecy in TACN. In 1934, God spoke to him through prophetic injection, saying:
“Leave your father’s house, you have no portion here. I am your treasure. If you leave these earthly treasures you are looking at, I will give you treasure above treasures. Tell nobody.”

He abandoned everything.
Because of this divine encounter, he chose the name Abraham.

In obedience, he left his surroundings and relocated to another place. Even the Church had to relocate, because he was nurturing the work of God. This was the cost of following Christ.

Then God began to change the story.

My mother became pregnant for the eighth time. They mocked and said, “This child will die like the others.”
But that eighth child is alive today; an Overseer in TACN.

Not long after, the ninth pregnancy showed up. Again, they said the child would die.
Today, that child is an Elder in TACN.

Then came the tenth pregnancy; the third surviving child. Death was defeated again.

The world began to ask in disbelief:
“Is this how the God of The Apostolic Church works?”

Yes! this is how God works.

When you leave worldly treasures for God, you lose nothing. But when you pursue worldly treasures and abandon God, you lose everything. Matthew 16:26.

I was that third surviving pregnancy, and by the grace of God, I am still living. 

To the glory of God, we are seven children alive today, a complete reversal of sorrow.

The Word of God is speaking to us today:
Choose God as your treasure. Earthly possessions are not worth clinging to. You may lose all for Christ, but you will gain far more, both now and in eternity. Philippians 3:8.

Choose God.
Let Him be your treasure.

May the Lord deliver us from the love and lust of this world that are stopping us from surrendering totally to Him as our treasure. The grace to cling and flourish in Him we receive in Jesus Name ?
