- **Event Description**: Join us from 3:30 to 6 p.m. MST for this free event designed to challenge stereotypes, raise awareness and bring hope for Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia, in recognition of National Alzheimer’s Awareness Month.

More than 30 community partners will take part. Included will be family activities, live music, community resources and more. Music will include a performance by Shine Your Light Choir, which includes people living with Alzheimer’s, Lewy body and other types of dementia.

A recognition ceremony will honor five trailblazing people who “shine a light” for those living with cognitive changes. 

Dr. Jessica Langbaum, senior director of Alzheimer's prevention and research at Banner Health, will be the featured speaker. 

Each person who registers will receive one complimentary coffee from Luana’s Coffee in Phoenix.
