About the event

3v3 Airsoft Tournament July 20th, 5-9 PM at American Paintball Coliseum
3V3 Airsoft Tournament at APC:
$65 per team or $25 entry per player, up to a 4 man roster. Tracer BBs can be purchased at event or brought in. Donations Prize Pool provided by Sponsors and Participants. Arrive at 4:30 PM for food from By the Bucket and Solos and Doubles Team Matchmaking.

Game Structure: Single Shot Elimination Flag Rush. Tournament will be bracket style with one team Captain representing each team. Each round ends when center flag is hand delivered to opponents starting gate or by referee. If last two players eliminate each other at the same time, or 90 seconds timer is up, player closest to the flag wins the round. For any tie, each team picks one player for a 1v1 Sudden Death round which is a pure gunfight, no flags, 60 second round. The wining objective is to touch the opposing team’s gate or elimination of the enemy. If time expires, the player who has advanced closest to the opposing team’s gate wins the round.

Round Sequence, Referees and Match Queuing: Each team will start at a breakout gate, guns touching the start gate and pointed at least 90 degrees away from opponents gate. Lead referee will give 10 second warning, round will start at siren and end at the Ref’s call. Each match lasts at most 11 minutes. When a round is over, players have 30 seconds to swap sides and adjust equipment. 5 seconds for teams to ready up, 5 seconds to begin 10 second start. Player eliminated if gun is not on gate at siren or any Full Auto firing. First team to win 3 rounds wins the match. When a match is over, teams on deck are to be in the arena 1 match prior and ready to start by assigned time while previous teams hurry off the playing field.

House FPS/Joules and Tournament Rules - 350FPS/1.4 Joules Max: SpeedQB Area. 1 trigger pull and release = 1 shot. No bumping, burst (multiple BBs) fire, binary firing, ramping, feathering, trigger walking or any advantageous programming of FCU. No blade, paintball, extended triggers, missing trigger guards, flashlights, lasers, launchables or grenades. No minimum surrender distance or verbal (surrender) kills. No talking, no communicating or influencing of any sort from spectators during active games. Tracer units and Tracer BBs are required for all guns. All guns must be chronographed (chrono'd) to house regulations before matches start. House waver must be signed.

Player Eliminations and Hits: You are eliminated if a referee calls you “Hit” or “Out”. Players cannot verbally announce "Hit", communicate or use any other signals to announce their elimination. This is to minimize hit players from communicating with their team. Any contact with an illuminated Tracer BB is considered a hit. This includes all gear and Airsoft guns. If two players hit each other at the same time, both players are eliminated. Friendly fire counts as a hit. Dry fires, ricochets and unilluminated BB hits do not count. When a player is hit while carrying the flag, the flag must be immediately dropped. When a player is eliminated, that player must exit the field, may raise their hand and quickly exit towards the nearest boundary using the most direct route to exit.

Team Penalties: Dropping flag, not calling your elimination, saying "Hit", slow exits, blind firing, prohibited communications, field disruptions like moving barriers on the field, rules violations, non combatants entering the tournament area, unsportsmanlike conduct and influencing penalties can be given at any time for any team and are not limited to just these violations. 3 team penalties will cause your team to forfeit the round or the next round and a mandatory talk with the referees about the rules broken. 5 PENALTIES IN A SINGLE MATCH WILL CAUSE YOUR TEAM TO FORFEIT THE MATCH OR THE NEXT MATCH.
